Diploma requirements:
- Attendance of all 10 days
- Completion of 6 written tasks (not essays) that are based on lectures and practical sessions. Usually, one hour in duration to complete each task;
- One to two hour reading per month. Articles will be provided
- Passing day seven competency exam
- Four Portfolio cases. Sample cases are sent to you. Cases are proposed treatments (don’t have to completed) or have started to treat or have completed treatment.
Perio Academy diploma Level 7 is accredited by EduQual. Course fees are inclusive of registration and certification with Edu Qual which are several hundred pounds.
Payment for PerioAcademy London Diploma in Periodontics
£500 non-refundable deposit can be made to reserve place and payment can be made at a later date for early bird or instalment payment.
£9000 payment for early bird, when full payment is received by 2nd May 2026 (£7500 excluding Vat and vat cost is £1500)

Hatem Algraffee qualified as a dentist from the Royal London Hospital in 1996. In 2004 he completed four-year specialist training at Guys Hospital/Kings College achieving two Master degrees.
Since 2004 Hatem has been involved in undergraduate and teaching and has over 15 years teaching experience at all levels. He is passionate and dedicated to teaching and this is reflected in the amount of time committed to mentoring colleagues both during and after completing PerioAcademy courses.
He believes in delivering teaching excellence and to create a relaxed atmosphere to maximize learning. His emphasis is on practical teaching, repetition and then planning cases jointly. Long term mentoring is emphasized to reflect on progress and refinement of skills.
Hatem works in private practice approximately four days a week with remaining time dedicated to Perio Academy teaching and mentoring colleagues.
